Product description:
The cam of RED arrester has a positive locking spring, which means that it can follow the user's movement without dragging upwards. This is very important for rope operators, because they need to keep the fall arrestor in the upper position when working, so as to minimize the fall coefficient. RED uses "rotary braking", which means that the clockwise rotation of the equipment will produce friction and resistance, so that when the oxtail is pulled suddenly (such as the accidental fracture of the main rope), a very effective automatic braking can be generated.
