Static rope ideal for those applications where the sheath and core can be damaged. Using the Secure significantly increases the safety margins in cases where mechanical damage to the rope occurs due to sharp edges or falling objects. Thanks to the unique sandwich-type construction of braided layers and the use of specially developed staple fibers, the Secure is able to hold the person or the load suspended even in the event of significant damage to the sheath or to the core of the rope itself. The suspended person then has sufficient time to abseil to the ground or to reach a safe anchor point.
